Irwin Press Patient Experience Research Student Poster Award
(Poster display required in order to be considered for this award)
The poster award began in 2007 to recognize the student research project at Rush which uses patient feedback in the most innovative or effective manner. Patient feedback is defined as any system of obtaining information from patients/family members about their thoughts, feelings, emotions, actions, or evaluation of their healthcare experience or activities. The "Irwin Press Patient Experience Research Student Poster Award" is named in honor of Irwin Press, PhD, Professor Emeritus, University of Notre Dame, and Adjunct Faculty in RUSH's Health Systems Management Program. He co-founded the firm Press Ganey Associates, Inc. Awardee will receive $100.
If you and your project meet the criteria, would you like to be considered for the Irwin Press Patient Experience Award?

The Health Equity Research Poster Award
(Poster display required in order to be considered for this award)
This poster award recognizes the scholarly project which demonstrates the greatest innovation and impact in reducing health care disparities in either global or local setting. The theme of the project does not need to be an explicit health equity theme to be considered, as long as a strong equity component is present. Any student at Rush University is welcome to submit. This award is being co-sponsored by the Office of Global Health and the RUSH BMO Institute for Health Equity. Awardee will receive $500.
If your project meets the above criteria, would you like to be considered for the Health Equity Research Award?

Rush University Trainee Cancer Research Poster Award
(Poster display required in order to be considered for this award)
This poster award recognizes the scholarly project which demonstrates the greatest potential impact on cancer care or treatment. The theme of the project can include any of the following or other cancer related domains of inquiry: core cancer biology and mechanisms; cancer treatment or therapeutics; or prevention, epidemiology and data science. Open to all trainees. Awardee will receive $100.
If your project meets the criteria, would you like to be considered for the RU Trainee Cancer Research Award?

Rush University Trainee Translational Science Poster Award
(Poster display required in order to be considered for this award)
This poster award recognizes the scholarly project which demonstrates the key attributes of translational science. Translational science is about identifying a barrier common to multiple translational research projects followed by developing and testing a strategy or methodology to address that barrier. Translational science attempts to achieve more effective and efficient conversion of fundamental science into interventions available to improve health overall rather than being limited to a particular health condition. Open to all trainees. Awardee will receive $100.
If your project meets the criteria, would you like to be considered for the RU Trainee Translational Science Award?
