Purpose: To recognize a Gamma Phi member who is a nurse leader in education, practice, administration, and/or research and uses visionary and innovative approaches to enhance the image of nursing while also contributing to the development of future nurse leaders.

Criteria:

Receives local, national, and/or international recognition as a nursing leader in education, practice, administration, and/or research.
Influences nursing through visionary and innovative approaches to leadership.
Creates an environment that enhances the image of nursing/nurses.
Participates in the development of nursing leaders.

Selection: By consensus of the Award Committee

The Award Candidate Meets the following Criteria:
1. Receives local, national, and/or international recognition as a nursing leader in education, practice, administration, and/or research.
