Survey Development -- Include questions desired along with appropriate possible responses with instructions. Note: the requestor or team member must be available for thorough testing to ensure valid responses and feedback.

Database Development -- Include fields desired for data and a conceptual framework for how you would like the database developed. Note: forms should be designed along with input from the PI/lead team member to avoid unnecessary redesign as the project begins development. All team members that will access the database once it goes live will need training on the database tool and how to properly input data.

Data Analysis -- Include the aims or research question with hypothesis. In addition, provide variables of interest including possible responses, codes for missing, and variable types (e.g. categorical, binary, continuous, and ordinal) for codebook completion.

You may need to formulate more than one research question. A Data Coordinator will discuss your research questions with you if clarification is needed.

Student Project -- Include research questions/aims, project purpose/ objectives, and goals for analyses. Note: students will be required to schedule a meeting with the assigned Data Coordinator and should be prepared with their collected data and have some basic fundamental knowledge of SPSS functionality. Variables of interest should be coded and cleaned (although contacts may be of assistance if necessary). Students will be expected to write basic syntax following templates provided by the Data Coordinators.
