Call for Poster Presentation Proposals - 2025 ACPE Annual Conference

The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to March 18.

Poster presentations will highlight research, evidence-based practices, and innovations to inform CPE, spiritually integrated psychotherapy, and spiritual care.

Posters share knowledge by providing a visual summary of a project or initiative. They present information, graphics, charts, etc. in accessible ways that generate curiosity and interaction with viewers.

This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise, engage in conversation with colleagues, stimulate innovation, receive feedback, and contribute to advancing the craft of spiritual care & education.

Poster topics may include but are not limited to

  • research projects
  • quality improvement (QI) projects
  • innovative educational or clinical initiatives
  • doctoral projects
  • in-progress reports of research or other projects
  • literature reviews.

We consider proposals involving any aspect of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP), or spiritual care. All posters should report results, outcomes, or takeaways that were evaluated or measured in some form (e.g., using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods). We also highly recommend spotlighting how your project and findings inform our professional practices.

Timeline:
  • March 18 - Deadline to submit your proposal.
  • March 21 - Applicant notification
  • April 26 - Submit a high-definition digital copy of your digital poster to ACPE (JPEG, PNG, or PDF format)
  • Attend the ACPE Conference
